Mountain Mystery Escapes Liability Waiver
Acknowledgment of Risks: By participating in any escape room activity at Mountain Mystery Escapes, participants acknowledge that although every effort is made to ensure a safe experience, there are potential risks involved. These risks may include, but are not limited to, physical injury, emotional stress, or mental discomfort.
Assumption of Risk: Participants voluntarily assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with their participation in escape room activities, including any physical injury or emotional stress they may incur.
Waiver of Liability: By signing this waiver, participants expressly release, forever discharge, and hold harmless Mountain Mystery Escapes and its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that are in any way connected with their participation in escape room activities, including any such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of Mountain Mystery Escapes.
Damage Responsibility: Participants agree to be responsible for any damages they cause to the facilities or equipment of Mountain Mystery Escapes due to negligent, reckless, or willful actions.
Guardian Consent for Minors: If the participant is a minor (under the age of 18), this waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. By signing, the guardian agrees to the above terms on behalf of the minor and assumes responsibility for the minor’s adherence to the rules and regulations provided by Mountain Mystery Escapes. The guardian also agrees to supervise the minor during the activity.
Health Declaration: Participants affirm that they are in good health, have no physical conditions that might endanger them during their participation, and have not been advised otherwise by a medical practitioner.
Use of Image: Participants grant Mountain Mystery Escapes the right to photograph, video, or record them during the activity for security purposes and to allow game masters to monitor and assist players as needed. Mountain Mystery Escapes assures that such recordings will be used solely for the safety and operational effectiveness of the game sessions and will not be used for promotional purposes without the express consent of the participants.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: By signing this document, participants acknowledge that they have read this waiver, understand its terms, are aware that they have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily.
